I think it's not a 4*. It becomes a lot easier when you realize that (spoiler) 7+8+9+10+11+12+13+14+15=99 (the total area of the puzzle), so equal numbers have to go in the same region and no regions without clues can exist.
Still, very brilliant puzzle. Good job, Valezius!

Hi, I made this puzzle for the 24 hours championship. Finally some puzzles droped out. I publish these now.
In original form this puzzle is a fillomino variation. Spoiler:
All area have different size, and the sizes are given.
On my hungarian web site there are some puzzles from this genre:

I also enjoyed the puzzle a lot! It went well since I realized the same thing Zulio did. Due to that, this felt more like a SPOILER: a a numberlink puzzle than a fillominio, though I realize it could not be a numberlink as some digits appear only once.

It's funny you should say that spoiler stuff, Eranus. I had the same feeling, to such an extent that I'm now actually busy designing a puzzle specifically based on that idea.
