When I'm logged in, I am shown 4367 puzzles in total (as for today).

When I'm not logged in, I am shown 4330 puzzles only.

Where does the difference come from?

That's odd; when I try doing it, I get 4330 puzzles logged out as well, but 4333 puzzles logged in. Clearly it's something user-specific...

Could it have to do with puzzles that you've solved that have since been pulled? And/or puzzles that are in your sandbox?

It's definitely not the sandbox for me.

I was able to narrow it down. In the list of puzzles, some appear multiple times:

Puzzle 51 from December 24th 2007 is listed three times, but only if I'm logged in. I found similar duplicates in other genres as well. It seems the total number of puzzles is shown correctly if not logged in, otherwise you may get some duplicates.

Isn't this the bug I posted about in September?

Yes, it was caused by the same bug. Fortunately, this little enigma is solved now.

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
