I very much enjoyed this puzzle, however it violates the rules and is not actually solvable in its current formulation:

Fill in n different digits on every row, in every column, and in every area of n cells that is bordered by a thicker line.

I am aware that this is supposed to be two Sudoku grids on top of each other, but the result of this superimposition is that there are several additional "areas of 9 squares bordered by a thicker line". There are quite a few irregular shapes that meet this description in the overlapping section. Plus there are two 3x3 regions that are not part of either sudoku grid and which contain duplicate digits, so it would not even be sufficient to specify that the thick-bordered areas were square.

I'm not sure this is fixable within the constraints of the authoring system as it stands. The only way I can think to resolve it would be to change the rules to say "...bordered by a thicker line of the same colour" and to mark out the two grids in different colours.

As it stands, it requires some extra assumptions from the solver, and is open to misinterpretation.
