Number: Puzzle #2634
Genre: Sudoku
Author: Jfo
Appeared at: July 23, 2011
I was wondering - how is the custom rule added to this puzzle? I have been looking at a way to give additional information about a puzzle (not necessarily a custom rule, but sometimes) and didn't think it was possible, but it turns out that it is!
How is this done, in the studio?
Also, is it always under a 'Custom Rule' heading, or is that part of the customisation (e.g. could it say 'Additional Information' instead)?

I'm afraid it is not possible in the studio to add your own custom rules to puzzles. I didn't know that this puzzle existed, I presume a moderator of this site has added it to this puzzle as a special case.

In all probability, this looks like an experimental puzzle that was not revoked and slipped into the wrong queue.

Quite a fun puzzle - nice use of the additional quirk to join the three sudoku's together.
Shame there isn't a way to add custom text - even if custom rules are discouraged, it would be useful to give some extra context (e.g. "This puzzle is part of a series, [link to forum post with details]", "This was a competition entry [link to competition page]", "Released on valentine's day", etc.)
