I'm familiar with Campixu, just not completely this way. I feel it has a rule too many. The puzzles I have seen, just have one number on the outside, which indicates how many squares are coloured. I feel the addition of the amount of sections there are, is unnecessary.

Hmmm...I would think that not knowing the number of sections would make the puzzles a lot harder, but I could be wrong. If you are able to, perhaps you could post some of the Campixu puzzles without the section numbers so I, and everyone else, can try them out.

They are not always harder. Those puzzles generally only have areas larger than 1 cell. This means you are more often looking for interactions between multiple rows or columns.

I've seen them in Breinbrekers. I'm not sure if they are posted online much. The only ones I know of are made by Naoki Inaba.

What about Yajilin and Every second break? I think these are the two of most popular loop puzzles.

I would like to see doppelblock (English, double block) puzzles added here. I've recently worked and solved some of these at croco-puzzle.com
For those who aren't familiar with doppelblock puzzles a square grid is used. There is a given range of numbers, such as 1 to 4 in a 6 by 6 puzzle. These numbers must appear once and only once in each row and column. Also, each row and column will have 2 black squares, or blocks.
There are numbers in the perimeter outside the grid. These numbers are the sums of the digits that are in between the 2 black squares. In some cases a line may a have a 0 as its designated sum. In this instance the 2 black squares are adjacent with no square containg a number in between them. Doppelblock is a very intriguing and challenging puzzle that can be solved with the use of logic Hopefully this puzzle will appear here soon. pease share your thoughts on this suggestion. Thanks!

How abut 3D Sudoku? It seems that 3D Sudoku can be designed on Puzzle Picnic just like Honey Islands or Sum Thing.

I would like to see the Doors puzzles here. They are on the Otto Janko site under the name "Turen."

Please ignore my last post. I see that we have Doors puzles here under the name Seethrough. Before Saturday's Seethrough puzzle was posted it had been quite awhile since another Seethrough puzzle was posted.

Batch of puzzle types I'd like to see (with links to where I've encountered them & rulesets; it may be a case that I'm not aware of the "common" name for them:-

Dominnocuous (also known as "Norinori" on Nikoli according to the page)
Solomon's Keep (also known as "Five Cells" on Nikoli according to the page)
Ellbound (also known as "Sashigane" on Nikoli according to the page)

It is not a purely new genre, but how about Parquet Sudoku.
If you extend Sudoku like you extended Kakuro at this site, Parquet Sudoku can be implemented easily.

I would like to see some of the different variations of Sudoku added. Examples would be Consecutive Sudoku, Non-consecutive Sudoku (where 2 consecutive digits can never be horizontally or vertically adjacent), Odd Pair Sudoku, Sudoku XV, and Odd-Even Sudoku -- and many other variations that I might have overlooked.

This might be implemented more generally by allowing puzzle authors to add some additional text to the puzzle. I've often thought this might be a nice thing for themed puzzles (to include some background, context or mood, e.g. a quotation or poem) or to indicate that puzzles are in some way related (e.g. the set of puzzles someone did which were in different genres but with the same grid layout, or where they are part of a series or competition).

If this were implemented, it would also be possible to use it to add additional constraints, such as those you suggest, rather than having to add them as new genres.
