Looking at some of the puzzles on that site, it seems that the 'streams' may cross, which is a bit different I think. I've never seen jigsaw sudokus with disjointed areas anyway.
It does look like any jigsaw sudoku can be written down as strimko though.
Edit: actually, that's not true, nevermind.

I hadn't thought of it being similar to jigsaw sudoku, but you're right, it is. Yes, the streams can cross. Because of this fact, the puzzles are better and more challenging than jigsaw sudoku puzzles, in my opinion.

Here is another intriguing puzzle that would be fun to see here. This puzzle is Kakurasu. It can be played on-line at the following site:
http://www.brainbashers.com/kakurasu.asp
This puzzle can be quite intriguing, especially when playing the higher levels, from about 6 by 6 on up.

By the way, Brainbashers is an excellent logic puzzle site featuring puzzles such as hitori, futoshiki, light up (akari), ABC path, and many more. The Brainbashers site also features many intriguing games and puzzles of all kinds, one of my favorites being Number Master, which is like playing the well-known board game MasterMind with numbers instead of colored pegs. Brainbashers has featured some Spokes puzzles borrowed from here at puzzlepicnic with the author's approval. Check it out!

In fact, Akari will be our the next upcoming genre (under the name "Light Up"). If you go to the studio, you should already be able to see it and to create puzzles in it.

I would like to see Shakashaka. (For example http://www.janko.at/Raetsel/Shakashaka/index.htm). www.janko.at is the only place I know where they can be solved online, and his site has no forum for providing feedback to authors.
Some of Shakashaka's appeal is visual, so it would be important to maintain that in implementing it.

I would love to see some slalom puzzles here (the one that can be seen e.g. at the croco-puzzle size), one of my favourites for sure.

I have a puzzle idea I call "Minimum Difference". The puzzle looks like a network of connected cells, much like the Sum Thing puzzles already on the site. The goal is to fill all the cells with integers 1 to n, such that the difference between any two connected cells meets or exceeds a specified minimum. A few of the cells in a puzzle will already be filled in.
Sample Puzzle
Code:
Numbers 1-7
Minimum Difference = 3

|5| | |---| |

I have this and three other puzzles in my sandbox, made using Sum Thing.

May I suggest the number spiral? It is quite fun.
If you don't know this puzzle, you can find some information about it here:

I would like to see Campixu be implemented. Here are the rules and here are some interactive examples.

I'm familiar with Campixu, just not completely this way. I feel it has a rule too many. The puzzles I have seen, just have one number on the outside, which indicates how many squares are coloured. I feel the addition of the amount of sections there are, is unnecessary.
