The third number in the diagonal of the solution is not doing what it should do. The puzzle has a unique solution, but not the solution given.

Admittedly, the third number in the diagonal need not to have two direction (leftward is enough). I intended to make plain flow.

I think it is better to keep the puzzle as it is, but change the solution. If you omit the upward arrow at the third diagonal spot, the puzzle will have two solutions.

It is correct. If there is more than 1 arrow in a cell, it indicates the amount of digits all arrows together point at.

Otherwise a puzzle like this one could never work.

Okay, excuse me Nyancharov, for calling your puzzle incorrect. Why do I always choose the wrong interpretation of a description when possible?
On the other hand, when re-reading the rules, the rules do seem to be ambiguous. Maybe it is an idea to rewrite them. I will think about an alternative description myself.

The ambiguity also arose the first time I encountered this type at a dutch puzzle championship. This ambiguity was resolvable while solving for that puzzle though. I kept keeping both options in mind till it broke to the right interpretation. Just felt this way seems more natural.

I guess nothing came of this discussion? I think the reference to "each arrow" is just wrong, not ambiguous.

I just came across this puzzle and I agree with the earlier posters. The instructions should be changed.

Right. My suggestion:

Place numbers inside every cell, so that each cell indicates how many different numbers its arrow(s) points to.

Thanks everyone. I have updated the description to JHe's suggestion.
